16 Months Old

Today the twins are 16 months old and we've finally officially reached that milestone everyone's been waiting for- we're officially WALKING! That's right, walking, albeit wobbly, is now the preferred method of transportation. Yippee! What a world of possibilities this opens us to. The walking happens to come with a double ear infection (Reid) and bronchitis (Eva) but you take the good with the bad. Everyone's on antibiotics now, so hopefully we'll be good as gold when Grammy and Pops come to visit this week.

Now, I'm going to use the twins' blog for a little self gratification. Hey, it's is called the fab '4' K's, right?? Ross and Meema brought the kids down to see me cross the finish line at the Gate River Run on Saturday. My memory was a bit fuzzy (so I had to look it up) and I haven't run this race since 2003. I'm happy to report all of my hard training paid off- I shaved 30 minutes off of my time from 2003!! See, life doesn't end after children.. ha ha ha...

And look, I'm still smiling after 9.44 miles


The kids had a great time watching all of the people and WALKING (see above) around the park afterwards in their St. Patty's day gear. If you can't read the shirts, Reid's says 'Not Lucky, Just Cute' and Eva's says 'Kiss Me, I'm Irish.'
